Who Am I?

 
 
 
 
 

John Jefferson was born in 1998 in Ecuador and spent his childhood and adolescence in Spain. He began his career in fine arts with a focus on academic art and portraiture, always driven to depict landscapes, objects, people, and nature. His first contact with the art world was in 2016, at the age of 18, in the studio of Simón Pico, where he learned academic basics and developed his love for anatomy and classical art. He exhibited at El Corte Inglés in 2016 and the Frax Foundation in 2017.

In 2017, John began his university studies in Fine Arts, graduating with a mention in visual arts and design. After experimenting with various contemporary art techniques and encountering unexpected results and misunderstandings, he decided to take a break. His growing interest in technology and technological media led him to explore digital methods of artistic creation at the end of 2021. His plastic and digital technique focuses on portraying and conceptualizing forms and space.

In 2021, he began a Master’s degree in Computer Games Art and Design in London, where he enhanced his knowledge of the medium and 3D software. Blending his strong academic background in art with new skills, he created works that are both technically impressive and full of personality. By the time he completed his degree, he had established himself as a designer and 3D modeller, aiming to compose and play with shapes, lights, and textures in unforgettable ways. In 2023, he finished his second Master’s degree in Design, further refining and integrating his artistic skills across various design aspects, including product design, layout, interior design, and virtual environments.

In 2024, John completed his third Master’s degree in Research and Investigation, exploring the concepts of synthesis in art, design, and architecture within the 3D audiovisual world and their materialized applications.
